IN THE SEASON

September 14, 2020

My name is Millie, and I’m the author of there’s freedom in your truth. I was born and raised in Accra, Ghana. I came to the United States when I was 25. Yours old.
My book is about healing from sexually assaulted; this book will give you hope that there’s light at the end of the tunnel and always trusting and believe in God.My mission is to help young girls and women and to support them and make them feel loved.
To be both genuine and wise.I’ll say this: it’s a tough season for all of us. This season has changed me, and I don’t know about all of you. We have been through so much, but.Whenever you find yourself overwhelmed by life, you have two choices. One: You can focus on your circumstances and placed your confidence in human beings. Or to put your faith and trust in God. When you set your confidence and trust in God, you can go through the fire but will not smell like smoke.
We all have our days where we feel like we can’t survive. Sometimes dreams are shattered, friendship, marriages, relationships may fall apart. Loved ones may hurt us, finances may worry us, sickness may overtake us. And we feel like our world is so small like we can’t breathe, nothing makes sense. Each corner, you feel like a death. It’s ok to feel like that sometimes, and we are human; we have our goods and bad days, but as long as we don’t allow our bad days to consume us, as long as we don’t give up hope or stop trusting in God.
No matter what kind of challenges or difficulties or painful situations we go through in our lives, we all have something deep within us that we can reach and find our inner strength to get through them. Ups and downs, rain and shine, rise and falls, day and night this is how we define life: a series of events, sometimes painfully full of sorrow. Well, that is what life, as we know, is. Keep trusting and keep believing in God.

God has not forgotten about you; remember that God has a schedule we can’t see; he knows our needs and our hearts’ desires. It does not say that we will receive everything we WANT. He promises that if we seek him first and live set apart from the world, He will give us everything we NEED, even beyond our needs. He showers us with blessings we do not deserve! It is the truth to live out intentionally and be thankful for!
